For more than 30 years Chromalloy Georgia (formerly known as Turbine Support Division) has specialized in the repair of high-pressure compressor vane and shroud assemblies and abradable seals. Chromalloy Georgia pioneered vane replacement repairs for JT9D HPC stators in the 1970s, PW4000 HPC stators in the 1980s, and PW2000 HPC stators in 1999.

Abradable seal replacements, including feltmetal and honeycomb, are also an integral part of JT9D, PW2000, and PW4000 HPC repairs. In 1996 Chromalloy Georgia introduced a unique and highly successful thermal sprayed abradable which is now used worldwide by major fleet operators.

Chromalloy Georgia’s new parts manufacturing facility provides a full complement of JT9D, PW2000, and PW4000 DER approved replacement details and PMA replacement parts to ensure part repairability at low cost and with improved repair turntimes.

Chromalloy Georgia added RB211-524 and -535E4 seals and cases to its family of high-pressure compressor and combustor repairs during the 1970s and 1980s. Compressor feltmetal seal replacement and combustion case repairs are available for all RB211 models including the Trent.
